My salesman Brian Bower was great. He knew his product, was very professional, and did a thourough job of teaching me all of the ins and outs of the Silverado I bought. One of the top 2 salesmen of ever had in all of the year buying over 25 vehicles. My only complaint is not with Brian, but rather the other employees he tried to deal with at Lithium and Chevrolet as to $4,000 in bonus points my fiancé gave to me to use. It was all on the up and up, until Bend and the Airport shut down for 3 days in which I could not get into town until February 28th, later in their day. There was no way everything cold come together, let alone rush me into a decision on that day as I also had a trade in to deal with. The powers to be told him we could not use those points after the end of the month, which didn’t seem fair as no one could control the weather to get me to Bend in time, even though the powers to be knew I had the use of those points as my name was on them along with Annette Durham who was giving me the points. Annette was upset as she has worked for 2 Chevrolet dealships in the Tacoma area for over 10 years and she was the one who told me to come back to buying a Chevrolet truck as I have owned 4 Fords in the last 12 years and they always treated me right. Brian was able to convince one division that it was an act of God from a moral and legal standpoint with the worst weather in Bend in a century holding me back from using the points by months end. The other division that it had to clear has not responded in 4 days, even with his prompting. It took away the expectations and excitement in buying the truck. Brian did his job, but someone else in the higher ups either isn’t doing their job by not responding or they can’t understand all would have been in order if for not the 3 day storm which kept me stuck in Seattle. I have a hard time rashenlizing this if Chevrolet wants to keep their customers coming back.
